I am not throwing away my shot! I am not throwing away my shot! Hey yo, I’m just like my country. I’m young, scrappy and hungry. And I’m not throwing away my shot! Enya rarely spent time on the beach. She grew up in the coldest point of Sinnoh, after all, and had never seen a sunny day until well after she graduated and began working as a ranger. Half of her current trek was to ensure that the beach was safe and there was no mischief, but it was mostly to feel the sand shifting beneath her bare feet. Not everything had to be about work. A few minutes of personal enjoyment couldn't hurt. She scanned the beach, looking for anything that might warrant concern. A few children were chucking Pyukumuku's into the water, but nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Enya kept walking, her feet moving erratically so that the sand thoroughly invaded the gaps in her toes. She would always love the snow, but she felt just as comfortable at the beach. Dropping her bag on the ground, she dug out a towel and smoothed it out on the sand. Within seconds, her picnic was spread out on the towel, and her motives for coming to the beach were revealed. She settled down on the towel and stared out at the water, munching on the sandwich in her hand. The water rippled and swayed, tugged along by the breeze above and the unseen currents below. The coast had become her go-to place to visit during her down time. She took her job very seriously, but it could be stressful at times, and the Brava coast was the perfect place for her to relax. Her pager was never turned off, and she was ready to tackle criminals at a moment's notice. But for now, with the sun shining down on her and the rippling shoreline keeping her company, she was content. Just as she was about to take another bite of her sandwich, she was attacked by a mass of sand. She scrambled to her feet and looked down at her ruined lunch. Her temper flared, and she rounded on the perpetrator. "What's the big idea?"
