When making your character, you have a rather important choice you'll have to make; namely, what your character will actually be as they go through their journey as a Pokemon Trainer. You have five choices in this regard each one with their own bonuses.



Battler: When one thinks of the term "Pokemon Trainer", this is often what comes to mind. These are the ones who go about, capturing and battling with their Pokemon. They understand the finer points of battling that are lost on those who view it as little more than "forcing animals to fight each other", and know how to bring out the best in their Pokemon.



Bonus: Battlers who make use of the Training Grounds gain two points of EXP per session, instead of just one.

Coordinator: This is an option for those who still want to be a Pokemon Trainer, but don't like the idea of having them battle against other Pokemon. Instead, they participate in Pokemon Contests, which involve showing off moves in creative and inventive ways, rather than facing off against an opponent.



Bonus: One of your starters can be their shiny variant.

Breeder: Like Coordinators, Breeders put their focus in places other than battling. Instead, they focus more on raising and breeding Pokemon, and can even open shops to sell extra Eggs/Pokemon if they so wish. As long as keep up with their business, Breeders stand to make a bit of money.



Bonus: Breeders are able to use the Breeding Center twice a week, whereas everyone else can only use it once a week. Additionally, there's less risk involved, meaning that the chances of a Breeding failing is noticeably reduced.

Pokemon League Employees: Official employees of the Brava Pokemon League, They work as a combination of other region's Law Enforcement or Pokemon Rangers. Working to keep the peace throughout Brava along with their Pokemon.



Bonus: In addition to their two starter Pokemon, anyone who makes a new recruit is also allowed a third starter Pokemon, who must know Odor Sleuth.
