| Do you know what it's like when you're not who you wanna be? Do you know what it's like to be your own worst enemy, who sees the things in me I can't hide? Do you know what it's like to wanna surrender?
Melies City was the closest Meira had to feeling like she was home since arriving in the Brava region. The bustling city was filled with everything an aspiring coordinator could ever need. Trying to take in all the sights at one time had a slight dizzying effect and just a few minutes in the city made her feel the need to pause and rest.
As she sat down on a nearby bench, the wriggling Vulpix in her hands jumped free and began sniffing the bench before running a few feet away to sniff a trash can. Then a leaf. Then an abandoned slice of bread. Before the lilac-shaded creature could gobble up the bread, Meira scooped her up and returned to the bench, sitting Violet at her side. "Why can't you be more like your brother?" she gently scolded, shaking her head.
Curled up between her feet, Spike had already dozed off, his back gently rising and falling with his breathing. While it was impossible for a Stunky and a Vulpix to be related, Meira treated her partners like siblings. After all, they had begun their adventure together with her, and the trio had been inseparable ever since. As Meira leaned back against the bench to stare at the massive buildings, she could distinctly hear Violet rooting around in her backpack. Rolling her eyes and smiling, she snatched the bag away. "You know, you could just ask nicely," she said, producing a small wrapped bag from the depths of her backpack. After carefully peeling back the wrappings, she handed a poffin to Violet, who munched on it happily and noisily. Reaching between her legs, she offered another to Spike, who awoke from his nap long enough to nibble on the treat.
"You know, we're never going to get anything done if you two just keep eating and sleeping all day." She sighed with content and looked around at the crowds of people going about their day. She smiled to herself. "But I guess I don't mind. I could stay here all day."

Without much to do today, Helena was pretty well free to roam where she liked. She should probably get back on the road again soon, but it never hurt to have a nice rest stop in the city. Melies itself may not have been as shiny and impressive as Boole felt like or as unique as Caellum, but it stood out in its own way. With all kinds of sights and sounds, entertainment from things to do for humans and Pokemon alike, and more, Melies stood proudly amongst the Brava region's other cities. And it was also because of this that the white-haired trainer was currently quite unsure of what to do. There was the theater, playing some of the latest productions from Unova and Comstock Studios probably. And then there was the Pokemon Contests, where skilled coordinators and their talented Pokemon showed their stuff in front of crowds of people and critical judges alike. Oh, but there was also the concerts and the theme park and the sports teams... Geez, there was so many choices! Well, maybe she'd just pick a cafe and sit down for a bit. All this walking was a killer on her feet. But just after finally settling on somewhere to go, something else caught her attention. Looking about for a cafe caused her to catch sight of a pretty woman sitting on a bench. And sitting around her were two Pokemon. A Stunky and a... Was that a Vulpix? But its coat was so... "Um, excuse me." Before she'd realized it, Helena had found herself wandering on over and starting up a conversation. "Your Pokemon there, that's a Vulpix, right? But why is it that color?" Her voice was filled with curiosity and her eyes even seemed to sparkle a bit as the mysteriousness of what she was seeing colored her voice. --- Tags: Meira Scott

| Do you know what it's like when you're not who you wanna be? Do you know what it's like to be your own worst enemy, who sees the things in me I can't hide? Do you know what it's like to wanna surrender?
Meira tilted her head back and closed her eyes, letting the bright sun warm her pale skin. A gentle breeze danced through her hair, caressing the dark locks as she lounged on her bench. It was a prime opportunity for a nap, and Meira could feel herself drifting off...
"Um, excuse me."
Meira's eyes fluttered open and she looked around. The source of the voice stood directly in front of her, possessed by a young girl with snow-white hair. Meira smiled politely, a blush rising in her cheeks. She hadn't meant to doze off and to be caught unaware was a little embarrassing. Spike seemed to have no qualms about it. He took one look at the girl and curled back up in the shade beneath the bench. But Violet yipped loudly, her many tails wagging at the stranger. Meira made an amused sound and looked back up at the girl as she regarded Violet.
"Oh," she said in surprise, looking down at the Vulpix. Violet smiled with delight, pleased to be the center of attention. Meira smiled and gently patted the fox's head before addressing the girl's question. "Well, Violet's originally from Alola. Vulpix in that region live in cold, snowy areas, so they adapted to their surroundings. She's also shiny, so she's rare even for an Alolan Vulpix."
There was a tone of humble pride in Meira's voice, but no arrogance. Even if Violet hadn't been shiny, she was Meira's beloved friend. She gently scratched the Vulpix's ears, letting her partner soak up the attention. "I'm Meira. And that's Spike," she added, gently nudging the snoring Stunky with her foot. Spike huffed dramatically but otherwise ignored them all.

Kaiesha' Gleeful "Oh Strawberry Avalanche Crash Over Me.."~Owl City Melies City.. The town Kaiesha decided to visit first on her pokemon journey. She held her Shiny Oricorio in her arms, her Popplio safely in it's pokeball. She noticed two people talking, and listened in. "You know, we're never going to get anything done if you two just keep eating and sleeping all day." One of the two said to their pokemon, to which Kaiesha just laughed. It sounded a lot like her to her Oricorio. Rachel loved to eat and sleep all day, and was only really awake when contests are mentioned. Suddenly, the other girl asked- "Oh Excuse me.." and Kai decided to hear the rest of what she had to say. "Your Pokemon there, that's a Vulpix, right? But why is it that color?" The strange girl asked the other one. Kaiesha, curious as well goes over to listen to the girls reply. "Well, Violet's originally from Alola. Vulpix in that region live in cold, snowy areas, so they adapted to their surroundings. She's also shiny, so she's rare even for an Alolan Vulpix." The other girls answer was crystal clear and smooth, and it was at that moment that Kaiesha decided to make herself known. "H Hello there... M mind if i hang out with you guys too? I I'm Kaiesha Gleeful a n new coordinator.. and this is Rachel my Shiny Oricorio."Rachel just snores on Kaiesha's head, but woke up when her name was mentioned. She did a tiny dance on Kaiesha's head and bowed afterword. The Oricorio did so love attention. Kaiesha herself Fixed her red lipstick and eye shadow, waiting for a reply from the two girls. Alola...? Oh, that's right. She remembered hearing about that in class before when the teacher was talking about the different Regions around the world. Not only was there indigenous Pokemon, but it even featured Pokemon normally found in other regions. With completely different colors and types at that! Helena wasn't sure she'd see one around here, but here it was right in front of her eyes! How exciting! Helena's eyes lit up as a smile crossed her face, clearly interested and excited to learn what Meira was telling her. And not only was the other woman's Vulpix an Alolan one, but she was also shiny too! After Meira's response, it seemed like they were starting to develop a little crowd as someone else, about Helena's age judging by appearance, joined in the conversation. After introducing herself, the new blonde then introduced her own shiny Pokemon, an Oricorio! "W-Wow! They're both really cool!" She smiled happily. "Oh, my name's Helena by the way!" She added in, now remembering she had forgotten to introduce herself. --- Tags: Meira Scott, Kaiesha Gleeful
